Schedule of Activities

We are planning on having a simple talent show Friday or Saturday night. It would be fun to have as many people participate as possible. Get a little creative and share something cute, fun, crazy or beautiful that you or your kids can do or show.

Kristin also has a wonderful talent of taking family photos, if you would like a nice photo of your family taken get together with her sometime during the reunion.

Hungry Anyone?

We have decided on some menus for the reunion.

Friday morning: Breakfast Burritos and fruit.

Friday dinner: Dutch oven chicken and sides.

Saturday breakfast: Pancakes, meat and eggs.

Saturday dinner: BBQ  hamburgers, hotdogs and sides.

Please plan to bring your own food and drinks, and we can work together to cook it and serve it all up as a big "pot luck". 

If you would like to do the same for the other meals that is fine, but we won't have a menu in advance.

If your looking for ideas of how this can work, our family has divided up all the meals for the reunion, and each

"sibling" will pick a meal and bring all the food for all siblings, their spouses and children, and our parents. That 

way we only have to cook and bring food for one meal.

Campsites Update

Angie talked to the park ranger and he said that there has been a 1000 percent increase in the number of people who want to camp at Lake Cleveland. Therefore they do not allow people to hold spots for others. We do have a 50 people spot reserved, but we know this will no be enough for everyone. So if you can come up on Wednesday or Thursday and get a spot that would be great.

Also 30 foot trailers are as large as will fit in the campsites.

We are going to have a talent show for the kids up at the reunion. So start working on your talent!!! : ) Or start brainstorming.

Bring your own water

Forgot to add on the invitation, you must bring your own water. They are having a water problem at Thompson Flats so we must bring all of our water.

It's time to start Planning

Welcome everyone. Angie and myself are planning an extended family reunion near Lake Cleveland this year. We wanted to make sure and invite everyone and get information out to everyone so I decided to make a blog about it that you all can refer to for answers to questions you may have. You should have also received an invitation via email or snail mail.

First of all the dates:

July 19th, (Thurs), 20th (Fri), 21st (Sat), 22nd (Sun) We did not reserve this night for overnight camping.

We are asking any family heads to make a donation. Talk to Diana with questions.

Food:

I have asked Diana, Vicki and Cathy to make a food menu for the reunion. If you have ideas that you would like to eat during the camp out talk to one of these women to get it on the menu. More food details to follow later, but we are trying to organize it so we can all eat and cook together.
